What Are We Eating?

Today's modern diet is so desperately lacking in nutrients compared to those of our ancestors' days. How so?

With the advancement of technology, most of our foods are manufactured, genetically re-engineered, and processed. Being busy people, we start to rely heavily on instant meals. We spend lesser time preparing fresh foods.

Even the foods that we do prepare in our kitchen with all the sophisticated equipments, kill and destroy the nutrients and enzymes that our bodies so crave. Just what are we doing to our bodies? 

It is time for us to realize that it is the (wrong) FOODs that are making us sick, and the (right) FOODS will help us heal again.  The "wrong" foods are nutrient-deficient, therefore, taxing our body further by robbing our body of nutrients.  Learn to like the "right" foods and feed your cells with the healing foods that are like solid block-builders and rebuild your body again.

Before we begin to eat nutritious foods, we need to gradually avoid/eliminate the harmful foods from our diet.  This is what a detox diet is all about.  It is about eliminating the wrong foods and eating the right foods.  I can't say this enough.

 

What are the Foods to Avoid?

Before a detox program, there are certain foods you will need to begin to eliminate from your diet to prepare your body.  These foods listed below have ingredients that may inhibit your body's detoxification effectiveness.  Some of these are even toxic to your body.

 

During a detoxification, you want your digestive system and detox organs to rest as much as possible while it's doing its spring-cleaning.  By avoiding these foods, you can expect a much better result.

 

I cannot possibly list down ALL the foods to avoid, but I will give you food categories.  Some of these we may not even have thought of as being harmful, but eating more of these foods will tip your scale towards diseases.  Make a choice to live healthy.
