SYMPTOMS OF LIVER DISEASE

If you suffer from any of these symptoms
of liver disease, the answer is really
simple and it's here.  So why doesn't
your doctor talk to you about it?

Why Are Gallstones Detrimental To Health

A healthy liver can process and filter about 1.5 liter (approx. 3 pints) of blood per minute and produces about 1-1.5 liter bile every day.  However, gallstones obstructing the liver bile ducts are effectively obstructing the liver from operating at its full capacity.  The more stones there are, the more it will upset the delicate balance of the flow, causing undue stress on the liver and eventually other detox organs.

There are many symptoms that will surface as a kind of liver disease, but they are all directly and indirectly caused by the obstruction of the gallstones in the first place.  Here's why.  Look at the picture below of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas.

Symptoms of Liver Disease

One of the main functions of the liver is to produce bile which is being carried in the biliary tract to the duodenum (small intestines) to assist with digestion of fats, calcium and protein foods.  Sufficient bile has to combine with food in order to be digested properly.  When there is obstruction in the bile ducts, bile secretion is reduced, thus partially and undigested foods remain in the intestinal tract.

These partially and undigested foods that are without fiber, cannot be eliminated properly, thus are being stored in the intestinal tract, creating a toxic environment that is perfect breeding grounds for destructive bacteria and parasites.  One of the symptoms that may result from this condition is food allergies

Over time, this condition develops into bacterial infection (thrush) as the bacteria begin to produce toxic fumes in the tract.  Some of these toxins get reabsorbed and circulated back to the liver—it becomes a cycle.  Others get trapped in the tract walls and becomes a constant source of irritation.  Eventually the intestinal walls become inflamed, damaged and ulcerous.

Bile is alkaline and is necessary in the digestion of foods in the duodenum.  When secretion is reduced due to blockage by gallstones, the composition of gastric juices is changed adversely.  The mucus which is meant to protect the stomach wall lining from the high acidity of the gastric juices is disturbed, creating an inflammatory situation known as gastritis.  In unusually high and constant acidic situations, this ulceration can lead to peptic ulcer, bleeding and even perforation of the stomach wall.

Heartburn (esophageal refllux) is another condition where there is back-flow of waste products, toxins and bile from the intestines into the stomach.  Undigested foods in the intestinal tract ferment and cause toxic gas to flow back upwards into the esophagus.  Sufferers are usually prescribed antacids (anti-acids) which will cause further damage to the stomach and the rest of the gastro-intestinal tract.

Some of the common causes of gastritis and heartburn include overeating, eating at irregular timings, eating fried foods, tobacco smoking, excessive alcohol, caffeine and soft drinks consumption, eating large quantities of animal products and animal fats, aspirin and most pharmaceutical drugs.

People with diabetes type 1 and type 2 more often than not, have large quantities of liver stones.  Yes, even young children may have congested liver but will see improved conditions after a proper liver flush followed by a healthy fresh foods diet.

These are only very few examples.  There are many more other symptoms that reach far and wide in every part of our bodies, all caused directly or indirectly by gallstones obstruction.  Gallstones are products of an unhealthy diet and lifestyle.  They are so common, yet so little known or talked about.

Other Liver Diseases

Extensive obstruction by gallstones begin to distort the surrounding wall tissues of the bile ducts, damaging the nerve fibers, destroying and suffocating liver cells and increasing pressure on the liver's blood vessels.  Damaged tissues begin to replace the healthy tissues, impairing the liver's ability to function properly.  This condition will lead to liver cirrhosis that can be deadly.

All of us are exposed to bacteria and viruses that enter our bodies.  Some of us have healthy livers that function well and are able to destroy these organisms.  However, people with a congested liver has a toxic (and acidic) environment that is conducive for viral activity.  This is why they easily get "infected" with viral infection like the influenza virus, or even the deadly ones like the H1N1 virus.

Gallstones that obstruct the bile duct leading to the duodenum cause bile pigment (bilirubin) build up in the blood.  When the concentration of the build-up rises above three times the normal level, a yellow discoloration stains the skin.  This is a form of jaundice that results from gallstones obstruction.

Gallstones that are obstructing the gallbladder and liver harbor plenty of bacteria and viruses.  Some of these organisms escape into the blood, a condition known as chronic hepatitis.   They also cause damage to liver cells, infect and inflame the liver.  Hepatitis is derived from Greek: hepat (root word for liver) and -itis, meaning inflammation.

Under normal circumstances, our liver contains huge amounts of enzymes for normal functions to assist in digestion.  In advanced liver cell destruction, as in the case of hepatitis or liver inflammation, these enzymes leak from ruptured cells into the blood and begin to show up as abnormally high liver enzymes.  It would have taken many years of liver congestion for a liver damage to come to this stage.

A Liver Flush Is In Order

The above symptoms of liver diseases are just scratching the surface.  Many, many more health problems are indirectly caused by the liver performing at less than its full capacity due to bile duct obstruction.  A toxic environment keeps circulating within the body system causing more and more damages.  When neglected over time, malignant tumors develop, and then cancer

Other worse case scenario is a liver that is so congested and suffocated that it just begins to fail and shut down ... and then death.  This need not happen to you.  If you suspect that you have gallstones obstructions, a liver or gallbladder flush is in order.  Most people experience an almost immediate relief/improvement after doing a liver flush.  It's not difficult ... well, at least it's better and easier than having a liver transplant!!
